Earnings depend on how much you use Claude Code. A developer using Claude Code for 2 hours/day typically earns ₹480–660/month with both placements active. Heavy Claude Code users — those running automated coding sessions or using it for 4+ hours daily — can earn significantly more. There is no cap on impressions or earnings.

No. The extension runs a background polling daemon (poller.mjs) that fetches new ads every 90 seconds. This is a tiny HTTP request — less than 1KB. It does not intercept Claude Code's processing, does not add latency to AI responses, and does not read your code, prompts, or files.

Minimum withdrawal is ₹100. After you request a withdrawal from your dashboard, funds arrive in your UPI ID within 2–3 business days. There is no maximum — you can withdraw your full balance at any time above ₹100.

Yes. WaitJI AI has a referral program that pays you 10% of your referrals' earnings — for life, with no cap. Share your referral link from the dashboard. When someone signs up using your link and starts earning, you automatically receive 10% of every impression they generate.

WaitJI AI runs house ads when no paid campaigns are active. This ensures the spinner always shows something (typically a WaitJI AI brand message) and keeps the extension active. You do not earn on house ad impressions — earnings only happen on paid campaign impressions.

Your ads reach active software developers who use Claude Code inside VS Code daily. These are typically professional engineers, startup founders, and freelance developers in India — a highly valuable, tech-savvy demographic. Most users are in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Pune.

Spotlight (₹800/1K) appears inside the Claude Code animated Thinking... spinner — the moment where the developer is watching the screen and waiting. This is the highest-attention placement. Minimum budget ₹5,000.

Stream (₹300/1K) appears in the terminal status line while Claude Code is running. High volume, great for brand awareness campaigns. Minimum budget ₹2,000.

Both run independent auctions and can be run simultaneously.

Pricing is PPP-adjusted per country. Indian campaigns are priced in INR; international campaigns in local currency but charged in INR at live exchange rates.

After payment, campaigns are reviewed within 24 hours. Our team checks that ad text meets content guidelines (no misleading claims, no adult content, no competitor attacks). Most campaigns are approved within 4–8 hours during business hours (10 AM – 7 PM IST).

Yes. From your advertiser dashboard, click 🧾 Invoice on any campaign to download a GST tax invoice from QivaLabs LLP. The invoice includes CGST (9%) and SGST (9%) breakdowns. You can provide your GSTIN during account setup for B2B invoicing.

Platform average CTR is 0.4–0.8% — significantly higher than traditional display advertising (typically 0.05%). This is because ads appear at a high-attention moment (while waiting for AI responses) to a technically sophisticated audience actively using a developer tool. Campaigns with clear CTAs and relevant messaging consistently perform above average.

WaitJI AI works with Claude Code 1.x and 2.x. The extension uses the officially documented spinnerVerbs setting in ~/.claude/settings.json for the Spotlight placement, and statusLine for the Stream placement. Both settings are part of Claude Code's public configuration API.

Yes. WaitJI AI works on all platforms where VS Code and Claude Code are supported — macOS (Intel and Apple Silicon), Windows 10/11, and Linux (Ubuntu, Debian, Arch). The polling daemon uses Node.js which is bundled with the extension.

Currently WaitJI AI works specifically with Claude Code inside VS Code. Support for Cursor and Codex CLI is on our roadmap. If you use multiple AI coding tools, the extension earns whenever you actively use Claude Code — it does not interfere with other tools.

WaitJI AI collects:
• Your User ID (to credit earnings)
• Impression timestamp and country (for ad billing)
• Click events (if you click an ad)

WaitJI AI never collects: your code, prompts, Claude Code responses, file names, terminal output, or browsing history. Bank account numbers are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Full privacy policy at waitjiai.in/privacy.html.

All major UPI apps work — PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, Amazon Pay, BHIM, and any UPI-enabled bank app. You can also add a bank account (IFSC + account number) for direct NEFT transfer instead of UPI. The sender name on your UPI receive notification will show as QivaLabs.

Advertisers pay via Razorpay — India's most widely used payment gateway, processing billions in transactions annually. Razorpay supports credit/debit cards, UPI, net banking, and wallets. WaitJI AI never stores your card details — all payments are processed directly through Razorpay's PCI-DSS compliant infrastructure.

When a campaign's budget is 80% consumed, you receive an automatic email alert. When the budget is fully spent, the campaign pauses automatically. You can top up the budget from your advertiser dashboard and resume the campaign at any time. There is no penalty for campaigns that exhaust their budget.

WaitJI AI pays out the full earned amount — we do not deduct TDS at source currently. However, income from WaitJI AI is taxable under Indian income tax law as income from other sources. Developers earning above ₹2.5 lakh/year should declare this income in their ITR. WaitJI AI provides a downloadable earnings statement from your dashboard for tax purposes.
